LIFE'S DEMANDS | BREAKING AT THE SEAMS
R Hill wrote the poem, Life's Demands, in his late twenties while he was in a recovery center for drug and alcohol abuse.
About twenty years later, he was given a piece of music by a producer with just the prerecorded chorus in it and was given permission to use it as he saw fit.
R Hill knew Life's Demands, would fit in perfectly with the chorus and song style and began conceiving of a music video video for it that displayed every range of emotion he had felt while in rehab.
The musical version of Life's Demands was released in 2020 as Breaking At The Seams and was used to encourage his community to stay positive during the lockdowns.
