FOR A LITTLE WHILE by R HILL
R Hill wrote this poem in 1995 and it is based upon a man that he had met on Guam but the guy was only staying on the island for a year.
During the time that R Hill hung out with him, this man had made a major impact on his life and became his best friend and guided him through some major personal challenges.
It sucked that this man had to leave but R Hill thought it was better to have known him for a short time than not know him at all.
This work of art later emerged upon reflection of this endearing encounter and it expanded to encompass all of his relations while he is visiting this planet.
And for those who know R Hill, you now know why he loves to meet and greet, talk and walk, care and share a smile.
